Traditional Distillation Process
We craft our triple distilled whiskey in the authentic, time-honored way, and in our own distillery.
Every step of our process, including raw material sourcing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, and bottling, is carefully implemented to consistently create products of the highest quality.
With the capacity to produce up to 100,000 gallons annually (enough to fill approximately 500,000 750mL bottles), we use three copper pot stills.
Our distillery and rickhouse are located on a well maintained 73-acre estate. The picturesque property provides ample room for distillery expansion and for grain production. Natural spring water that is necessary for production is readily available on the premises.
Scenic Setting with Modern Flair
Our unique distillery is nestled among the rolling hills and greenery of New Freedom, PA. This beautiful landscape provides an ideal setting for a relaxing experience.
With 8,000 sq. ft. of space, our distillery offers ample room for the production and enjoyment of our whiskey. The main floor is where our distillery equipment and upper level tasting room are located. It features a spacious, open floor concept and a woodwork finish. The lower level tasting room has a cozy ambiance and features exposed stone structure.
To provide a comfortable, relaxing environment, our renovated facility includes radiant heat on both floors, air conditioning, and restrooms.
Fun Facts
The 1992 Kentucky Derby winner, Lil E. Tee, was born on the farm where Chairman Distillery is now located.
Mr. Christian Hershey, a member of the family that founded Hershey chocolates, used to own the farm where Chairman Distillery is now located.
